our partners
In addition to our member programs, we are engaged in a systems approach based partnership called Outdoor Access Together. We believe that meaningful access to the outdoors is essential for healthy and thriving individuals and communities. Outdoor Access Together (OAT) is a partnership that offers technical assistance and builds local capacities to connect communities to the outdoors through a collaborative process.
Together, we envision families hiking with bilingual local leaders, elementary students engaging in hands-on science projects, community youth groups checking out free tents and sleeping bags, young adults advocating for environmental justice and pursuing careers in recreation or the outdoors, and local non-profits engaging with each other in new ways to ensure their organizations and programs are culturally relevant to the communities they serve.
